An industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience, Beverly has established herself and her firm as pioneers in progressive employee benefits, workforce, and healthcare reform programs. She is the creator of Selden Beattie’s signature strategic planning approach, and continues to shape the future of how companies can maximize value through smart investments in human capital. Today, her commitment to service excellence, integrity and ethical business practices has established Selden Beattie as one of the most highly regarded benefit advisors in the Southeast region.
Beverly was recently chosen by Employee Benefit Adviser Magazine as one the nation’s most influential women in benefit advising. As well, Beverly and Selden Beattie were featured on the June 2010 cover of Employee Benefit Adviser magazine and in the August 2010 edition of Employee Benefit News.
Prior to launching Selden Beattie, Beverly was the Corporate and International Director of Business Development for Baptist Health System (formerly South Miami Health System). She previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing for MDR Associates, one of the nation’s largest physician and health care recruitment and consulting firms. She was later entrusted with launching what became the largest international healthcare marketing program in the Southeast.
She is a frequent guest speaker at national industry conferences, including Source Media’s Annual Benefits Forum & Expo, Annual Employee Benefit Advisor Summit, the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Dade County Bar Association and for CFO groups. Beverly is also an advisory board member for Employee Benefit Adviser Magazine.
